Building and Maintaining Relationships

Let's face it - we're all human and we are relational beings.  Meaning that while most of us desire to be independent and make our own decisions, we still have a basic longing to share our lives with and be connected with other human beings, so if you think about it - that makes 'relationships' pretty high on our list of ‘must have's’.

Sadly, sometimes we're not too fussy about the quality of those relationships and I'd like to ask you to think about relationships that influence your level of satisfaction in life, whether they are personal, business or other - whose responsibility is your level of satisfaction?

Come on - 'fess up' - it's your responsibility.  If you are experiencing challenges with others then it's time to acknowledge that your own behaviour may be taking its toll on the relationships that you find the least satisfying right now.

The good news is - you have the power (yes I did say power) to take control of this.  Sometimes you just need to have a good look at what it is that you're finding so unsatisfying in the relationships around you and then check your own perspective on things.  It maybe that your perspective is actually OUT of perspective and your responses are actually adding to the friction in some of your relationships.

To find out how to drastically improve all kinds of relationships (whether it's motivating employees and creating an ideal working environment; developing a new circle of influence for your own personal and career development or just establishing better communication with a sibling that's been driving you nuts for years), contact us on 1300 893 810 or go to the contacts page and fill in your details.  Either way - our friendly staff will be able to help you book a time to start creating the type of relationships that will put your satisfaction monitor on the boil!
